The Health Visiting Service supports and educates families from pregnancy until your child starts school.
The service is provided by a team led by health visitors who are qualified nurses with specialist training in public health for children. The service delivers the Healthy Child Programme 0 to 5.
The Health Visiting team can help with any concerns; we can offer advice and packages of support on a wide range of health issues. We can also signpost you to other services that may be able to help.
The Health Visiting Service has been accredited by UNICEF as Baby Friendly since 2017.
